On October 21, 2022, the Gujarat government will begin the registration process for Gujarat TET 2022. The Gujarat Teacher Eligibility Test 2022 Notification will be available soon on the department’s official website http://gujarat-education.gov.in. Officials will use this exam to select qualified candidates for Primary Teacher (Class 1st to 5th) and Upper Primary Teacher positions (Class 6th to 8th).
Gujarat Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) Exam 2022
Gujarat Teacher Eligibility Test will be held by the Board of Secondary Education Gujarat for the recruitment of Primary and Upper Primary teachers in State Government Schools. This exam is given once a year at the state level. As we all know, the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) is a required exam for all candidates seeking teaching positions in both public and private schools.
Jitu Vaghani, Gujarat’s State Education Minister, shared the official notice for the Gujarat TET 2022 on his official Twitter handle. TET 1 will be held for candidates aspiring to become teachers in grades 1–5, and TET 2 will be held for candidates aspiring to become teachers in grades 6–8. Officials have yet to release the Gujarat TET 2022 Notification.

According to the notice, approximately 3.5 lakh candidates are expected to take the examination. The Gujarat TET application form will be available on the official website of the Gujarat School Examination Board on 21st October 2022. They must complete the application form with all of the correct and complete information.
Gujarat TET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling out the Gujarat TET exam application form.
Primary Teachers level (1st to 5th):
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 45 percent marks is required.
- Candidates who were in their final year of a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)/two-year Diploma in Elementary Education/two-year Diploma in Education in Special Education were also eligible. OR
- Candidates with a B.Sc./BA/ with a minimum of 50% marks and B.Ed qualifications were also eligible to apply.
Upper Primary Teachers level (6th to 8th):
For Paper II 2022, applicants must have a B.Sc./B.A. or be in their final two years of a B.A./D.Ed./B.Sc. with at least 45 percent marks or be passed/appearing in B.Ed / Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or be appearing in a four-year BA/B.Sc.Ed. OR
A. (Ed.) / final four-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) / B.Ed B.Sc (Ed.), (Special Education) with a minimum of 50% in B.SC or B.A were eligible for GTET.
Age Limit
The candidate’s age should be between 18 and 38 years old. Age relaxation will be applied in accordance with the Norms.
How to Fill Gujarat TET Application Form 2022?
Step 1: Visit ojas.gujarat.gov.in the official website.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “new registration” notification.
Step 3: Fill out the registration form with all of the required information.
Step 4: Select the Submit button.
Step 5: make a note of the registration ID and password generated by the system.
Step 6: Log in to the Gujarat TET official website using your login credentials.
Step 7: Then, in the application form, fill in all of the required information.
Step 8: Candidates must upload scanned images of their signature and a passport-sized photograph after filling out the necessary information.
Step 9: Recheck the application form and make any necessary changes.
Step 10: Finally, in order to submit their application form, candidates must pay the application fee.
Step 11: Save your application form for future reference.
